About Citizen Sites

Built by a family, for the local church.

We are a small team led by a husband and wife, building Citizen Sites by hand for the local church.

Our story

One Platform, Built With Purpose

Will and Kierstyn Lattus, the family behind Citizen Sites

I have been building software since high school, and over the course of my career that work has taken me through professional development, freelance projects, and a lot of time spent working alongside churches. When I found myself helping a church plant get started, I felt firsthand what so many small church teams deal with every day. Every new need meant another tool, another subscription, another thing to figure out with no time to figure it out. That experience is what Citizen Sites grew out of.

My wife Kierstyn leads design, and her work is a big part of what makes this product feel different. Together we set out to build one platform for the local church: a curated online experience, a site that practically builds itself, and simple but powerful tools to manage your visitors.

We are genuinely grateful for every church that trusts us with their online presence. We are honored you are here, and we are glad to be building this with you.

What we believe

Four things that shape every decision we make.

  • Faith.

The work you do every Sunday matters eternally. Our work is to make sure your tools are not what slows that down.

  • Family, neighbors, church.

We are Christ centered before we are a company. We hold to the second great commandment: love your neighbor as yourself. That includes our literal family, our church family, and anyone else. The way we build reflects all three.

  • Craft.

Software for ministry deserves the same care that goes into a sermon, a worship set, or a Sunday morning kids program. We build by hand, slowly, with intention.

  • Trust.

When you reach out, you reach our team. No outsourced support, no chatbots, no impersonal AI. Real people who know your church.
